Hot Doug's was truly awesome, especially the duck fat fries. Unbelieveable!

During our trip we also visited The Hopleaf, Ann Sather's, a "resto-bar" called Bluebird Bistro, Reza's Persian Restaurant in Andersonville, Sweet Occasions for ice cream, Fox & Obel, and a really good upscale restaurant called Aigre Doux. I am never eating again!

Thanks, ML, for a great few days in Chicago. We had a really good time, despite the nasty weather. I have come to the conclusion that the reason Chicago has so many good restaurants and bars is that it is too cold and awful to do anything in the winter except hang out in these great venues. Not a bad way to spend a season...
