It appears that Iraqi cuisine is no different from other mid eastern menus.

I want to share my experience as a woman in eateries of Muslim countries.

I spent time both in Morocco and Tunisia, and on several occasions I was the only woman— or another female friend and I were the only women— sitting in a restaurant, or coffee shop.We were stared at, but not bothered, though it seemed to take a long while to get a waiter's attention. But we were determined, in addition to being thirsty and in need of food, and were not to be deterred.

I can't even remember the last time I was served something at a restaurant and did not take a bite of it, letting it go completely to waste. This, however, was the case with the accompanying salad, which had nothing redeeming about it at all. I think sometimes it's better to just not serve a side with an entree than to serve something that's not very appetizing. The rest of the meal was certainly passable. I think if one were trying to find a quick cheap lunch in the area and wanted to avoid a chain fast food joint, this place would be a good option. But I imagine there's many better places to dine in the area.
